Upgrading or Downgrading
Section titled “Upgrading or Downgrading”Upgrading from Free to Pro
Section titled “Upgrading from Free to Pro”- Open the DevGlish menu bar icon
- Select Settings
- Click Upgrade to Pro
- Choose monthly or annual billing
- After payment, it takes effect immediately
Downgrading from Pro to Free
Section titled “Downgrading from Pro to Free”- Go to Settings
- Click Manage Subscription
- Select Downgrade to Free
- Confirm; takes effect at the end of the current billing period
Switching to Team Plan
Section titled “Switching to Team Plan”The Team plan requires contacting our sales team to set up. Email [email protected] or visit the team plans page.
Q: Can I use the same account on multiple Macs? A: Yes. Pro and Team plans support cloud sync, allowing you to sign into the same account on any number of Macs with automatic data sync. The Free plan is local storage only, requiring re-setup when switching Macs.
Q: Are 1,000 lookups/day enough for Pro? A: Yes. Developers typically average 20-50 lookups per day, well below the 1,000 limit. Unless you’re doing intensive English study (such as preparing a talk or writing an article), the Pro limit is more than sufficient.
Q: Can team members see each other’s learning progress? A: In the Team plan, admins can view aggregate team statistics and popular vocabulary, but each member’s personal learning progress remains private and is not exposed to other team members.
Q: Can I get a refund? A: Yes. Within 30 days of purchase, if you’re not satisfied with Pro or Team, we offer a full refund. No questions asked.
Q: What’s the difference between annual and monthly billing? A: Features are identical. The annual option is simply a one-time payment for 12 months at a lower price (about 28% savings). Monthly billing is a subscription you can cancel at any time.
